Shungite, not be confused with Shugnite, is comprised of almost 99% carbon. It is known for its protection against EMFs (electromagnetic fields). EMFs can be found in daily used items such as refrigerators, microwaves, laptops/computers, and cell phones and have been noted for their potentially harmful side effects. In Russia, where the original vein was discovered shungite chambers have even been built to help treat depression!
