Known as the Money Frog, this three-legged creature, also called the feng shui frog, is believed to attract wealth and prosperity. By displaying it at your money corner, you can accumulate money chi. In Chinese culture, the Money Toad holds many meanings, including representing the immortal moon goddess and the yin concept. Legend also connects it to the immortal Liu-hai through the strings of I-Ching coins on its sides. The deity Liu Hai, who is revered for his wealth and fortune, is often depicted with a three-legged toad and a string of coins.
The symbol on the money toad's back is known as the Jin Chan which is meant to represent the Big Dipper constellation, another symbol of good luck and prosperity in Chinese culture.
