These brains are made from cinnabar and dolomite! Cinnabar is often feared because of its potential toxicity. Cinnabar can contain small traces of elemental Mercury. Mercury is toxic, but as long as the cinnabar isn't heated, the mercury is locked by the sulfur, making cinnabar low in toxicity.
